Fueled by experiences and conversations with arists while traveling in Morocco, Inside Voices: Moroccan Contemporary Art in the New Millenium showcases the art of contemporary Morocco in light of the political and social changes taking place in the Arab world since the beginning of the 2000's. Impassioned in their search to understand and express a modern and evolving Moroccan identity, these artists push boundaries while respectfully playing homage to their rich cultural backgrounds. Using strong visuals cues from Moroccan textiles and tiles, Inside Voices captures the spirit of these artists and presents them and their work to the Western world.
